SMM

SMM is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server designed to bridge Cloudera Streams Messaging Manager (SMM) functionality with Claude Desktop. It enables users to monitor and manage Kafka environments, supporting both standalone SMM deployments and integration with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) via Apache Knox. While still under active development with 22 out of 86 tools currently operational, it provides essential features for cluster management, topic read operations, and Kafka Connect integration, offering a read-only by default interface for safe exploration.
