This project provides a read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) server designed to bridge the gap between large language models (LLMs) like Claude Desktop and live Microsoft Planner data. By wrapping the CData JDBC Driver for Microsoft Planner, the server exposes Planner data as relational SQL models through a simple MCP interface. This innovative approach allows LLMs to retrieve live information by asking natural language questions, eliminating the need for direct SQL queries. For users seeking full read, write, update, delete, and action capabilities, a beta version of the CData MCP Server for Microsoft Planner with a simplified setup is also available.
